Ephesians 4:5-6 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Can a Christian believe the bible as it reads? This website is to share bible themes recorded in the bible and understand what they plainly say. We welcome all to join us on this journey. Our journey through the bible will help us understand why Jesus was rejected by a majority of religious leaders in his day and the influence the religious leaders had over their congregations. As I share ideas found in the bible I ask you to enter the experience of the disciples of Christ to examine what you believe and compare that belief to what the bible states plainly.

An appeal to all Christians. The disciples of Jesus walked talked and ate with our Lord. Jesus explained why they were slow to learn:

Matthew 16:6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

The disciples exhibited the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducess and Jesus had to rebuke them:

Luke 9:51 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, 52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. 53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. 54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? 55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

An appeal to Church leaders.

Mark 12:24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
